MRRP $3,499.00 Engine The air-cooled 17 horsepower engine with the iTorque™ Power System provides excellent power and performance, easy starts and smooth operation and has features that increase its ability to pull attachments and enhance its durability. Other Features Four-wheel steering increases the maneuverability and greatly reduces the need to back up when mowing around obstacles. The Edge Xtra cutting system is engineered to cut cleanly and precisely. Conversion between mulching and side discharging is easy and an attachment can be added to allow bagging. Height of cut is adjustable by quarter inch increments by a dial and the separate choke and engine speed controls make it easy to warm up the engine during cold spells. The heavy duty CargO Mount system (a combination of deck, fender and hitch mounting points) makes it easy to use attachments without tools. there are easy to operate foot pedals for precision control and the translucent fuel tank makes it easy to see when a fill up is required. The X304 comes complete with headlights, a tool tray and a cup holder. Comfort The high back seat is fully adjustable and springs adjust to the operators weight.The open back design gives a more comfortable ride by allowing air circulation. A large 14′ steering wheel and the gear shift, featuring a pivot on sealed ball bearings gives a smooth feel and minimal steering effort. The platform is open and roomy to allow easy access to the mower. Overall the X304 John Deere lawn tractor fully deserves its high rating from Consumer Reports. It is a well designed, high quality machine at an affordable price. |
